My Furtive Father Winter - gift

I've joined the Furtive Father Winter 2012-  an event where bloggers made a post for each other to publish on their blog. You can read about it here. I've received my gift a couple of days ago in my mailbox. I've been having a bit of a hard time dealing with various things lately, and this post couldnt have come in a better time for me. Thank you Noahdeer for your kind and warm words. I also made a little something for Lib Feathers Fanfiction, a handdrawn illustration and a small 'story', if you are interested, I suggest you look at the post here.
---------------------------------------------

I firmly believe that there can never enough messages of congratulations for jobs well done. Especially for the people who create content for their own personal blog.  For this reason, I’d like to the opportunity to give a massive shout-out of congratulations and thanks to Incinderella for the incredible work done on her blog
So Incinderella, congratulations on taking the necessary steps to create your blog, not only have you come up with a  great idea but also sticking to that idea.

Your talent of going out to Azeroth and creating unique transmogable outfits, something that I could never do, and then displaying those designs for the whole wide web to see.
By the way, huge props for making cloth based outfits, my mage will be interested in recreating the Farmer’s outfit once I decide to go back the Tillers to finish the rest of the cooking profession (link: (http://iftheshoefitsmogit.blogspot.com/2012/09/are-you-ready-for-mists-of-farmdaria.html))

I want to say thank you Incinderella, for sharing your gaming and fashion passion and for making the World of Warcraft blogging community just that much more awesome.

I look forward to reading more posts from you in the future.

I hope you had a lovely christmas, and I'll hope that I'll be able to make a transmog post before this year ends.

Pink candy cane

It's christmas next week, so I'm quite busy preparing all sorts of stuff. Baking something for a contest - and, I'm going on a cruise today to get some christmas shopping done :-)
I've had this mog for a couple of weeks. I've always liked this robe, but never really bothered to make a mog around it. I found some items in my bank and figured, hey, this actually matches quite well together(in my opinion) It's a simple model robe, but the way it hands on the shoulders is gorgeous. It's also just a greenie, silly how some items look so well
I like how the little 'shiny' gaps in the shoulders match my weapon and headpiece. However, the set looks great without it too.

Items used on my Pink candy cane -set:

Love the backview, looks great on a female!
Weapon : Starshard Edge

Alternatives : This time I dont have alot of things to add, you can swap the belt for a white/beige belt : Replica Virtuous Belt. But I felt that the purple belt matches the outlining of the shoulders better.

Black & Gold - a Plate (blacksmith) set

Shown with the Rockwurm Plate Handguards
Dressing up alts is something I'd like to do when I am burned out of inspiration with my current main, my warlock. Cloth has alot of options, and its very versatile - hence cloth being my favorite gear type. I've had this set for quite a while on my deathknight, I dragged my partner along with me back then to be able to do the Essence bosses in Black Temple, and I had the luck of it Crown of Empowered Fate dropping quite soon.
They have made Black Temple easily soloable with patch 5.1 - So if you want this headpiece, I suggest you add Black Temple to your weekly raid farm list. You can also get a chance to get
Soul Cleaver whilst you are there, an nice looking golden two handed axe that I oh so desire.
I saved my original set from the leveling start zone, only to realize later that the belt doesnt actually show. In some cases that may have been a downside, but for this set, its rather perfect. Dont worry though, I have added an alternative belt for non - deathknights or for the deathknights who have deleted their set way back.

List of the items used for my Black & Gold plate (blacksmith-only) set :

Weapon : Currently I am using my Firemaul of Destruction, but I recently found a better alternative that fits the set better  - Engraved Hammer. I can't show it to you because my deathknight is still level 85, and the weapon requires you to be level 88.

Shown with the Replica Gauntlets of Valor
Alternatives : I am using Shattered Hand Vambraces with my Rockwurm Plate Handguards since it shows a tiny edge of gold above the gloves. You can also use the Replica Gauntlets of Valor, the wrists are not visible then.  For the blacksmith-only shoulders, well as a plate class I've always thought that going blacksmith was the best option - It still brings good raiding potential for MoP aswell. However, if you still have the Brackshell Shoulders in your inventory, they go pretty well with this set too. A two-handed axe that goes well with this set would be Soul Cleaver

Ps : I got a bit bored last night and ended up fiddling in photoshop to remake my blogbanner in holiday spirit. Do you like it?

Have a little faith

Ever since MoP came out, they have released the Black Market AH. Here you can buy items varying from tier 3 pieces to random TGC loot. I had seen the Circlet of Faith pop up once on the Bmah before, but I had to stop bidding since it was during a raid, and didnt want my guildies to wait too long (since every time someone bids, I think the bid gets extended to a longer duration)
Wearing the Golden Lotus
tabard, thought it matches the neckline quite well
So, a month or two had passed, hoping every day that one of my favorite pieces would come back on the Bmah. And yesterday,  it did. I know it may seem not so appropiate to bid on a priest item, as a warlock is supposed to be on the dark side and whatnot, but hey, my name is (In)cinderella after all!

The item is so rare and unique when it comes to looks (on any other class than a priest) Plus a white headpiece is pretty rare in WoW, so splurging was definitely worth it.
It doesnt have a class restriction, because originally the quest that gave the tier items back in the old-naxx days, was class only, but the item wasnt.

I figured blizzard wants to get more out of the Bmah-aspect by making more pieces available to more classes etc. (esp now that Monks are added to the game) It would only be fair that monks would be allowed to bid on rogue tier 3 and druid tier  3 aswell.
Set shown with an Apron (tabard)

A few weeks ago I also managed to finish my daily quests with Nomi, my apprentice cook. I got my Apron, which is a beautifull white coloured tabard, with a little bit of added detail on the bust. I'm normally not a fan of tabards and such, but I'd make an exception or two for the newly added tabard that MoP has brought us.

As if I wasnt lucky enough by winning the
Circlet of Faith, I also got my Mr Bigglesworth pet yesterday (it has an icey effect when it spawns, plus frostyglow whiskers).
I've noticed that if there is someone in the guild who has the pets that you lack, or the other way around, you can cage the pets, and trade them, so the other person can learn them, get the achievement, and trade them back to you. I can confirm it works, but I do not know if Blizzard will fix it. I ended up getting all the pets from the raids, with an exception of buying three from the auction house to avoid going back to the annoying instances (pets that drop from the later bosses for example)
Talking about pets, the adorable Cinder Kitten has finally been added in the Blizzard Store!

Yay for a cute little bow!
Items listed on my 'have a little faith' - set
Weapon : Staff of Immaculate Recovery
Tabard(s) : Apron, Golden Lotus, Order of the Cloud Serpent (not shown)
Alternatives : The gloves are a pick for me since I prefer this model, the gold colour does fit and I have no problem with a little pink in the mix. There are bracers that fit this set really well, the problem is that the gloves that are currently available in wow, do not match those wrists (a few examples : Swiftheal Wraps, Runed Spell-Cuffs), thus ruining the effect of the wrists. If I were to use them, I'd pair them along with Frostweave Gloves.
The set looks great aswell without a headpiece, if you go for a 'light' hair colour, it make the robe even more stand out. For weapons, as I got a dagger from the raid recently, I'll be using a Starshard Edge along with this set, or perhaps The Soulblade (has a hint of pink, so matches the gloves) is a great fit - For an alternative staff I'd use a Key of the Planes. As far as the belt slot goes, the Ruthless Cord of Accuracy goes quite well with the colours too.

But it's so cosy by the fire

The background of the picture doesnt do the set enough justice,
but I prefer to pose on the same spot for my blog pictures.
The dark colour around the shoulders is hardly noticeable in sunlight :-)
It's been a while since I've posted, I've been leveling up my monk - doing some gearing for transmog and raiding, so I apologize for the delay between posts.
I've had this transmog for quite some time on my hunter - I only yesterday got an other idea for her transmog set, so I set out to farm the last pieces for that set some time soon. Red looks great on fierce characters (mainly dpsers), female blood elf hunters are definitely one of them.

I'd preferred to show you a headpiece that goes along with the set, but sadly, I wasnt able to obtain such a thing.

Items used on my fiery mail/hunter set :
Weapon : Skyfire Hawk-Bow
Alternatives :
For a headpiece I'd wanted to use Crown of Destruction, drops from Ragnaros (molten core) - Ever since 5.1 it's great to go for this item aswell as the many newly added pets such as
Core of Hardened Ash.
If you still run Ragnaros heroic regularly for the mount (reduced droprate) - perhaps you could also scoop up a Crown of Flame which is also a nice headpiece in the same colour range as the set.
I've been using a golden/yellow bow - so I found that a golden belt smooths out the contrast between the bright red. If you prefer to use a red belt, perhaps with a red bow, the Engraved Girdle  is your best friend!

Feeling blue

It's getting colder outside by the minute, I live in Finland so the winters are beautiful, but oh so terribly cold.
I know it sounds strange, but when december comes,  I feel that it's somehow still the warmest month of the year.
Christmas is my favorite holiday, so much warmth surrounding those couple of days.
Curling up on the couch with a good movie, a cup of hot chocolate and some fresh made baked goods makes up for the cold outside.

I got new shoulders, in a colour I didnt have before - light blue. I've been after them for a couple of months, but I wasnt very lucky, untill about a week ago when me and a friend of mine went to clear 10 man normal. I had a mog all ready to wear once I got the missing key
piece.

Request-a-mog : Of fire and shadow (a cloth mog)

The best fitting background for this transmog - Firelands
A while ago I got a request to make a transmog set including the Circle of Flame. Being a fan and owning this item myself, I gladly took up the challenge to make a set for him. I wanted to match it up with Shoulders of Mercy Killing, but since I wasnt really satisfied with that, I kept looking. Another request was that this set must be fiery. That ultimately got me to use the Mantle of Closed Doors, which is possibly one of the most 'fiery' cloth pieces ingame. They are quite tough to get, since these days people arent really up for doing Firelands normal. Regardless of these odds, the requester managed to obtain these thus bringing the set I made him, alive.
So when he got it completed, I was so excited that I couldnt help but poke him for some screenshots.

Items used on the fire transmog (the requested mog) :

Weapons : Alysra's Razor and Goblet of Anger

Thank you Saronas for allowing me to
show you on my blog, it's great
to see how the set I've made you turned out!

Since I don't own the normal version of
Mantle of Closed Doors, I made my own version of this set, but then, ofcourse, in purple.

Items that are used on the shadow set :

Weapon : I am using a wand in my current set, Wand of Arcane Potency
- the offhand isnt shown when you have a wand equipped as mainhand.

Alternatives : A (better fitting) boot option would be : Barbaric Cloth Boots

If you happen to spot Saronas, be sure to compliment him on looking smoking hot ^^!

Adding a little bit more soul

The shoulders shown are warlock only, but I've added an alternative
for non-warlocks.
Purple is one of my most favorite colours, its fortunate for me that my class is too. I like experimenting with new-found pieces, a challenge to match something with that one piece that looks so good on your character. Now a couple of weeks back I found a good looking chest piece model that fits really well on a female toon, sleeveless - just a top. Decked in the colours blue and purple, I decided that this is a piece I'd like to find a mog for. It wasnt an easy task, since I wanted to include a bit of blue aswell. It's an unique shade of blue, so I had a bit of a struggle finding the right pieces together.
It's a beautiful shade, and unique - Since non-robe mog's are quite rare in my voidstorage, this has easily become of my favorite mog-sets.

I still have a bit of an issue with the 'rugged'
model pants, cavewoman style, but the colour fits so well with the rest, it had alot more bonus points than the other pieces.

The boots are quite awesome looking by itself (again, the colours are just amazing), and sometimes you just want to show a bit more leg - other than the usual cover-up!
The cloth pattern for the chestpiece is known to have a 2% if I must believe WoWhead - eventhough I'd visited Karazhan on my warlock before, I'd never seen it drop, but when I prepared myself to 'farm' this pattern by killing the mobs that can drop this pattern - resetting the instance over and over, I had the most amazing luck and it dropped for me from the first mob.

Picture shown with the alternative leggings :
Darkweave Breeches

List of items used :

Weapon : Lightning Rod (heroic)

Alternatives
: Since the shoulders in the screenshot are warlock only (sorry!) - I found an alternative for the shoulders : Vindicator Shoulderpads. They are less bright, but they still make the chest piece come out well. I suggest changing your haircut to something 'full' since it looks better.
If you don't like the pants, for the same reasons that I almost decided differently, I also found an alternative for those, it's not the same colour purple of the rest, but I thought that it matched the set better than the other available options : Darkweave Breeches

If you have trouble aswell with finding a mog with a piece of armor you like, I'm happy to help you find a set that goes along with it! (via Request-a-mog)

Demonic forest-nymph

Since the screenie is an old one, there is no pet, but
I've gotten myself an Eye of the Legion,
which is a bright lime coloured eye (like the soulshards
above my head) - the perfect fit to this set.
After getting exalted with the Golden Lotus and Klaxxi five days ago and getting four new mounts in the process - I've had more time for other things, taking a bit of a break with the game, doing some laidback pet battling. Still doing my Shado-Pan and August Celestial dailies and keeping my farm blooming (I also got exalted with the Tillers few weeks ago - thats three extra mounts added to my collection).

I have one of my older mog sets to show. A set that is very light - the opposite of being a warlock, but thank goodness there are some bright looking pieces ingame to make up for the doom and gloom a warlock brings.

A list of the items used for my 'demonic forest nymph' warlock -only set

Added effect from a debuff in Sunwell Plateau, shame it
doesnt last when you're out :-(

I'm using white wrists on this picture - Bands of Indwelling

Weapon
: Terokk's Shadowstaff

Alternatives : You can also go for Mistyreed Bracers if you find them cheaper, or perhaps if you don't like the split between the gloves and wrists. I found them a better match, but since I made this screenshot a while back, and my photoshop membership hasnt been renewed yet (used for cropping), I can't show it to you.

Request-a-mog : Cloth 'monk' set

I received a request to come up with a transmog-set that included the Straw Hat and the Staff of the Hidden Master. I wanted to create a 'monk'-like theme with the set. Since I feel that Pandaren are the real masters (monks) - any other race that isnt, is considered a trainee in my eyes. So I made a set that brought out the 'trainee/newbie/-feel. A sporty outfit, but still keeping some sexiness as blood elf females oh-so-much have. I still have my doubts about the shoulders, I had Mantle of the Golden Sun as an alternative, but I went for a more 'subtle' look since you're a trainee after all! Perhaps you can wear them when you graduate the academy.. ^^
I havent obtained a Staff of the Hidden Master just yet, because it is considered to be a treasure of Pandaria, thus rare. But if you level up a belf monk, you'll get a low level staff that looks familiar. If I had this staff myself I could've added in a pet to match, making a screenshot on my usual spot, but no such luck!
I apologize for the poor quality of the picture, but my Wowmodelviewer isnt displaying MoP items yet, and the blood elf female shoulders seem to have bugged out (increased in size). So I used wowhead's model viewer and added a bit of monk-ness to the screenie to make it look less empty.

The list of the items used for the 'cloth trainee monk' set :

Weapon : Staff of the Hidden Master
Wrists : Since the gloves are pretty covering, and go well with any wrist slot, I still suggest using wrists that are thin, like Windwool Bracers - one of the cheap options.

For the boots I had several options, a basic model like Deathsilk Boots could work, as well as a high model with red detail : Ritual Sandals, they provide a worn-out look, which you'd expect from someone whose been training hard :-)

Mog-alike : Aimee - Pie, Pastries and Cake vendor

'So erm, can I be your long lost twin-sister now?'
The Darkmoon Faire was back in Thunderbluff, so I decided to buy some pieces for my long-wanted lookalike transmog. I made a mog to look like Aimee, who is one of my favorite NPC's ingame, the cake vendor in Dalaran/Darkmoon. I don't really know what it is about her, perhaps that I went to baking school for less than a year, had to quit, but I was still left with a passion for patiserrie. Or maybe it's because of that adorable stand, with the gingerbread man and the huge pink cake on the side.

Eventhough I could not find a set that makes my toon look completely like her, but I think I did a nice job trying to. Her eyes and toenails are blue, mine are green/red. She has the nicest pair of sandals found in all of WoW. I'm starting to grow a deep attachment to my Ringo's Blizzard Boots, eventho socks in sandals is considered dorky, it will just have to do for the time that I'm horde.

On the picture above, I'm wearing the completely mogged lookalike set. I couldnt find gloves that are fitting aswell as the ones shown, mainly because they overlap with the wrists - so no 'puffy-sleeve' effect for me :-( I believe that Aimee is wearing a shirt that makes the puffy-ness of her chest piece come out, however, that effect doesnt sadly go along well with most wrists or gloves.
I also went for shoulders which blended in the most with the colours of the set, gold and
    white.

Here are the items used for the 'Aimee' sets :

Weapon : Key to the Planes or (since I'm no longer wearing a staff at the moment - a wand Scepter of Creation)

I found out that an offhand isnt shown when you are wearing a wand as your main hand, not even when you unsheath your weapons. I transmogged it anyway, just in case Blizzard changes their mind. I'm wearing a Urn of Lost Memories to go with the wand.

    Mastering all the ways

    I've got plenty of left-overs!
I love to make goals for myself, perhaps a little too high sometimes, but regardless of how silly it may be, or the amount of time it may take, I will give my 110% to get it.
Getting Master of the Ways achievement is/was one of the many goals I wish to achieve in MoP.
And so I did! Into the third week, after saving up food from questmobs, leveling up fishing plus spending alot of hours farming meat and fishing for extra's. I can now proudly call myself a Master of the Ways.
Now that I've done that, I am saving up for a Cooking School Bell, while maintaining enough tokens to make feasts (275 stats) for the guild.

I've always enjoyed fishing, if you have a good book to read and good music to listen to, time goes by oh so quickly.
It also helped alot that I managed to obtain a Ancient Pandaren Fishing Charm about a week ago, after a server restart. Me and someone else were camping him on the same spot just before the reset. When the server came back up again, we both eagerly talked to him - which must've happend at the exact same time, because we both got the item in our bags (I was jumping around the apartment when the item appeared in my bags)
You get the item by talking to a npc called : Ghostly Pandaren Fisherman - If you want this item, I suggest adding the #64004 to your NPC_scan, but on crowded servers, if you got the chance, perhaps wait for a server restart. He considered a treasure, so you will get credit for the Lost and Found. (so he is a pretty rare spawn)
It's possible that I have a good 30000 fish caught combined on my account, so when I (finally) got my oh so adorable Sea Turtle - Why does this drop when I least expect it?
I sat in my chair in shock for a whole minute when it dropped, couldnt believe it.
The reason why I wasnt expecting this to drop, is because the tooltip for Turtles All the Way Down hasnt been updated yet. I fished this cutey up from a Jade Lungfish school in The Jade Forest.

I wish you all will have a lovely day, and if you consider going for these achievements aswell, goodluck!

    The chase : a rare catch I

Since I've been working on my Glorious! achievement, catching rares all across Pandaria, the list of the rares that I still need is getting smaller and smaller. Some of these rares have some 'must-have/want' items, I've even been killing the same rares over and over, since their vanity item is worth it.
Now that we are in the third week after MoP's been released, I've gotten my hands on quite a few items that I'd like to show you guys, and perhaps inspire you to hunt for these yourself.

These vanity items seem to have a 20% droprate, taken from WoWhead stats, so you cannot guarentee a vanity drop if you do manage to kill one of these rares.
I highly recommend getting some help from 1 other person for these rares especially when you are leveling. I managed to catch quite a few when me and my partner were still leveling, so it was easier to kill them when being two. Lucky for me, he isn't such an enthousiast
Now that I've gotten a few epic-crafted pieces plus heroic dungeon gear, atleast for warlocks, you can solo most of them.
Another tip I'd like to give out is to look up the rares in an area you are going to quest/hang-around-in beforehand, keep an interrupt/silence button on your UI.

Some are rares are very brutal - for example, the Pandaren rares will cast Chi-Burst when you arent in melee range (be aware that you need to move out when they start casting spinning kick). The chiburst will kill you if it hits perhaps once or twice depending on your hp.
Other rares simply require you to kite, move out of bad stuff/cone attacks and whatnot.
Some rare npc's even like to surround themselves with elites, be patient and find a smooth way to make room, hug the wall if you must after killing one elite (while keeping an eye out for possible other 'rare hunters' .
When I find rares that have already dropped the desired item for me, I still kill them, they have a chance to drop a Small Bag of Goods - which can contain some nice profession materials. There's one rare (Yul Wildpaw) that can drop a Big Bag of Wonders, which contained alot of enchanting materials for me.

    Kang's Bindstone
This item drops from Kang the Soulthief in the
Vale of Eternal Blossoms. This grey effect also applies to your mount.
As if the grey effect applying to your mount wasnt cool enough,
the effect of the stone - It also grants a chance that when you kill
your opponent, they will become encased in stone.

    Mr Smite's Brass Compass
This item drops from Yorik Sharpeye in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
It releases the memories of a long lost first mate, transforming you into Mr Smite.
When you use the item, your character will yell : 'You there! Check out that noise!'
    And in combat/being attacked :
'You land lubbers are tougher than I thought! I'll have to improvise!
'D'ah! Now you're making me angry!
'We're under attack! Avast ye swabs! Repel the invaders!'
Not only will you look like Mr Smite, but you will also sound like him aswell.
I wonder if Yorik Sharpeye is a disguised Mr Smite (he does wear a hoodie), since he left the Deadmines in Cataclysm.

    Ai-Li's Skymirror
A drop from Ai Li Skymirror in the Dreadwastes.
This item will allow you to copy a target player's looks and adds a shimmer.
Dalaran isnt very crowded these days, so I took a
'snapshot' from a welldressed Tauren Paladin.
This item took me about 10 kills to get, I'm even happier now to have it in my inventory :-)

    Hozen Beach Ball
Drops from Ik-Ik the Nimble in the Dreadwastes.
It leaves a watery path in your wake, and you get equipped and dressed in
a beachy outfit (shovel and bucket included!)
When I mounted up, however, my character displayed my shirt instead of
the skin-coloured top she is wearing (beachball effect) on the screenshot.
The belt that you have equipped/transmogged also shows, not sure if this is a bug or intended

    Believing in pink

My little pink strider was forced to stand still on the picture,
an easy task, you'd think but the little fella kept chasing off!
Yesterday I was brought up to date by a post on the Amateur Azerothian, about october being the month of breast cancer awareness.
I've never personally known anyone who has or had breast cancer in my family or friends circle. I honestly feel a bit ashamed that this month almost completely past me by, if it weren't for this post.
I want to contribute something small to this month, by sharing a pink transmogrification set - a tribute to all the people who have been affected by this disease in any way.

Losing a loved one, or being afraid to lose one, isnt a feeling I can explain with words.
Instead I was inspired to make a transmog, worn by the lifebinders of Azeroth, symbols of life - a druid.

The items that are used for my 'I believe in pink' set :

    Weapon : Pillar of Ferocity
    Shirt : a Precious Ribbon :-)

    Spotted in the Mists I

Wandering around in Mists of Pandaria, finding little fun things in random places.
It's definitely worth it to explore every zone/island and corners! Here are some shots from things that I've found throughout the content.
I've also been hunting down rares (in a casual manner) for my Glorious! achievement. I've always liked the thrill of the hunt, plus the items that have dropped are mainly vanity items (something that I'll make a post about next) and you can never have enough vanity items! (bagspace is ofcourse totally irrellevant..)
I play on a very high populated server so sadly, my rare hunting isnt progressing as fast anymore as it was in the first 5 days - I assume this is due to more and more people dinging level 90, and ofcourse they find out about the spawnspots aswell. Though, despite of the amount of people on my server, I believe they respawn every few hours, it's just a matter of getting lucky (and I can definitely say that I have been!). Having someone else to do quests/dailies with is very much recommended,  just in case you do spot a rare and you can't solo it - and ofcourse it goes quite a bit faster - It also makes you able to tag the rare straight away. I don't really keep timings for the rare npcs but I do stay up sort off late to catch the occasional rare spawn.

No transmog set featured in this post, but I will show my deathknight' (spotted on the second pic below) mog soon.
    Happy spotting!
Cute or Creepy? I couldn't help but
think of Mike from Monsters Inc.

One of the best I've found so far :
Meet Adele, a little panda-female, rolling in the (widening) deeps in
    Townlong Steppes

    Bleeding hearts, now found ingame!
One of the sweetest types of flower (eventhough the name
    says differently)

Underwater clam now 'bubbling' up a pipe, like a sir.
The eye/clam-lids even went up and down.
Found offshore at Soggy's Gamble in Dread wastes.

    Level 90 and then some

It's been four days since the launch of Mists - I've dinged level 90 two days ago after nonstop questing. It was a messy launch on Twisting-Nether, I didnt manage to log in untill 1,5 hours after the official launch, continued to lag quite badly for another 30 minutes. But after a few DC's and 'world server downs', all was well. It was a battle to tag mobs, managing to click items before someone else does it (whilst you are killing the mobs around it)
But now that I've passed that, the real 'farming' starts!
Been doing dailies for several factions every day to be able to buy gear for our first guilds raid this thursday.
As I'm also doing a few heroics per day, I don't want to transmog my gear since I'm getting about one piece per day, and it's a bit of a hassle to transmog it daily.
But instead I will show you a set made from collecting a few greens and pieces from leveling in Mists of Pandaria. I will show the set to you as if I mogged it. Awesome new looking skins!

'Mog' shown from the back, with
    Staff of Trembling Will

The list of items that I'm wearing on the screenshot :

Weapon : Polished Staff or Staff of Trembling Will(heroic)

I really like my Soulcloth Gloves, it's definitely a piece to pick up if you're into mogging like me, its a very 'universal' item since it goes well with most things, especially if you are wearing a robe or so, and the only thing that you see is the golden line on your hands.

The red cricket pet shown on the screenshot is a gift I got from becoming best friends with Sho from the Tillers. I hope it stays this size just because companions are so tiny normally, but I wouldnt be shocked if Blizzard decides to shrink it :-)

Aaaaaaand I'm back to farming and doing dailies again!

Are you ready for Mists of Farmdaria?

So I've leveled my Archaeology up from 100 to 500-ish (for the fourth time around), tried my best to clear out as much from my bag and crafted some dreamcloth to get a bit of a headstart leveling my tailoring. Eventhough I did not achieve my goal to get 14k achievement points, I've gotten pretty close in such a relatively short time. Started out with 13360 points.. and I ended up with..

    That's almost 600 points in 20 days :-)
I didnt manage to finish all the achievements in pvp, still lacking some for the Battlemaster meta, but that's ok, since I'll be doing bg's for honor in MoP anyway.
My plan is to level as fast as possible to level 90, and see from there what I'll do, perhaps I'll start leveling my pet afterwards, or do some archy.. Oh well, we'll see, so many new things to do!
I found a set that would pretty much fit the expansion and the upcoming new adventures that come along with it. I focused pretty much on the 'farming' aspect, since that's what it's mostly gonna be for a couple of weeks (farming pets, cloth, some more pets, vegetables..)

With messy hillbilly hair included -
    staff shown without enchant

As usual, here is the list of items
Weapon : Conifer Cone Staff (If you are lucky, you can get this for a steal from AH)

I have alot of things to add to this list, there are many alternatives and such. What I wouldn't give to obtain a pair of Kurkenstoks.. Perhaps going to alliance and back would solve basically all my shoe issues.. Hmm.
Anyway, I tried to create an image that I'd be wearing it around my neck, like in the movies.. but I suppose I can just say that I'm allergic to hay, and therefore I shall cover my nose..

If you do not like these dorky socks-in-sandals, perhaps you'll find Abjurer's Boots to be a better alternative.
The headpiece can also be a simple hat of any colour.
If you want to stick to red, Crimson Felt Hat or the alliance quest item : Mirren's Drinking Hat.
I prefer red to go with the blue pants and so on, so I went for a Red Lumberjack Shirt. The shirts are also available in green, yellow and blue.

The gloves and wrists were difficult to match, and I'm not sure if I'm entirely satisfied on the result on the set, but hey, its a fun-mog and I hope everyone gets the hint that I'm going for the hillbilly look. I swapped my
Cindercloth Gloves and Deathsilk Bracers last minute for an easier option that matches the gold-ish colour on my belt and legs. With the gloves and the bracers I tried to find minimal showing/blending items that fade in the dark shade of red, so if you prefer that, I posted the links for those items too.

Since the overalls are a chest item, the legs do not really matter if you're not too picky like me, heh. The 'pipe' of the overalls change depending on what kind of leg item you are wearing, so for example with a Simple Kilt they will extend into a 'dress' - So you have to imagine that the lowerpart of the kilt gets added to the overalls. I did not use this because its a different shade of blue and I personally didn't think that it matched well together.
The Aurora Pants looked best since the 'pipe' turns into a bit of a flared jeans kinda look.

With my Glyph of Verdant Spheres it shows green 'limes' around my toon, but you can also make them dissappear whilst not in combat with Glyph of Subtlety

Last but not least, I want to wish everyone a great time in MoP, be sure to take breaks when leveling and most of all have fun ofcourse! <3
