It has been a while since I've posted, I've had this mog ready to show for a while, but I just couldnt get to it. Noiranda came to me with the request if I could make a mog that would go well with the Bulwark of Azzinoth. Truth be told, I have a secret admiration for this item, eventhough it doesnt fit my purple and pink needs in a mog item. He wanted something more special than the tier 6 warrior set, which matches the shield quite well, but it isnt really original. I like that this set seems less grim, and more of a noble and bright transmog set - as opposed to the darkness of tier 6. Fits the personality of Pandaren quite well I think. I made this set specifically for a Panda Female, but feel free to try it out and see how well it does for a male character.
I went and looked around for shoulders first, something that would match the colours of the shield specifically and would look just as tough as the shield does. I wanted the Warlord shoulder model/colourscheme, but since that isnt really available anymore, I found a great alternative (that is easily farmed aswell)
So without further ado, I present you the Bulwarked - warrior set.
Items used on the mog :
Weapons : Since Bulwark of Azzinoth is quite big, I suggest using a sword that wouldnt take alot away from the original colours - Though, I really like how Gleaming Quel'Serrar looks here, since it has its own glow but the pattern on the sword looks quite nice.
The gloves have a little bright blue dot on the side, which isnt visible on the picture shown, but it goes quite well with the brightness on the chestplate.
Alternatives : I had different leggings (Arcurion Legguards) a and a different chestpiece (Breastplate of Kings) in mind at first, but since the availability of the items is questionable - I went with a different chestpiece, and Noiranda was able to come up with a different legpiece.
My dear readers, I deeply apologize for not having posted for so long. I've had to deal with a bunch of things lately. In short, I no longer raid anymore, I've started to seriously think about my future (studies), so my interest in WoW has gone down to zero. However, I still enjoy making sets for people who make requests, and when the time is right, I'll go on the hunt for new sets. I still have some sets awaiting to be shown on my blog.
I hope you had a lovely new year and I'll be back to you soon enough.
